75 Years with Our Dearest Friends

As early as 1940, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated recognized the significance of embracing women who, for various reasons, were not affiliated with any Greek-letter organizations. These women, valued for their prestige, goodwill, unity, and cooperation, were organized into auxiliaries.

It wasn't until 1948, during the tenure of Grand President Lullelia Harrison, that a groundbreaking recommendation was made. In her report to the 1948 Boule’ in session, Harrison proposed allowing chapters to establish auxiliaries, uniting them under the name "Zeta Amicae" (Friends of Zeta).

Today, Amicae Auxiliaries thrive across all eight regions of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Their enduring dedication is evident through invaluable community service and substantial financial contributions, enriching the outreach efforts of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated within their local communities.
